Korkut is a self propelled anti aircraft gun (SPAAG) that is under development by the Turkish companies Aselsan and FNSS. Once it’s completed it will mainly serve for the Turkish Land Forces. Korkut is based on the ZMA 30 armored platform that will be produced by FNSS. The ZMA 30 platform is amphibious and it’s protected against mines and laser designated missiles. ZMA 30 will also be the platform that will be used for the Hisar-A short range missile defence system. All the other systems including the gun and the radar will be produced by Aselsan. The gun has 2 barrels and it shoots 35mm ammo. It can also shoot the 35mm airburst rounds that is also produced by Aselsan. The guns fire rate and range is not known by the time. The system is developed to move with armored units. They will be deployed as a “Korkut Team” that consists 3 gun system vehicles (SSA) and a command and control vehicle (KKA).
