Night Owl Security Camera System Unboxing

Gabe: Hey, folks. This is Gabe at Security
Baron. Despite the nondescript nature of these two boxes, I promise there’s a Night Owl Home
Security System inside. I’m going to unbox it. [music] [background music] Gabe: If you’d like to see a list of our favorite
home security systems, Google “Security Baron’s best home security systems.” If you have a
question about today’s unboxing, leave us a comment, and I’ll get back to you. Let’s jump on the Night Owl. We’ve got a mouse,
our adapter, our cords that allows to set it up the camera with the hub and the camera
itself. The Night Owl is interesting. It’s in black. Usually, these cameras are in white. Night Owl 2.0. See if we can get a little
flexibility. Turn this knob here. By turning this, I can get it one way or another. I will
say that I like the color scheme. I like the Night Owl. I like the flushness of this part
of the lens, and the fact that it articulates pretty easily. I can tighten it back up. One thing I want to note is that it definitely
feels like plastic. Not that that’s necessarily bad, but you can tell that this is like a
plastic device. Some security cameras that we’ve seen have a little bit more weight to
them. In a sense, that might make it easier. This
Night Owl definitely feels a bit lighter than some of the other security cameras out on
the market. Let’s check out that hub. We’ve got our Ethernet cable, HDMI, our literature,
our yard sign, Night Owl. Wow, that’s very scary. I’m going to show
you this. It’s kind of scary. Again, I watch a lot of horror. This is the hard drive and your hub. Looks
like you have a QR code on the top. The back allows you to put in, looks like up to eight
cameras. You got your audio out, HDMI, VGA adapter I believe, LAN, more USB. Wow, you have a lot of options with your Night
Owl System. It’s a nice camera. Very light. I wonder if, maybe if it’s this light, it
will make it easier to not worry about it coming off of something. It’s not super heavy
if you’re nailing it into part of your house, or a tree or something, but I do wonder if
it’s out in the elements, if it may be a bit less hardy. That’s my only concern. Now, we have the literature and our yard signs.
That’s a little intense, don’t you think? Kind of an owl with the infrared LEDs of the
camera. That’s aggressive. Overall, it’s a pretty comprehensive system.
It’s going to probably take me a while to set all these up, especially if I’m moving
these far away but overall, pretty light. Definitely lighter than some of the other
systems we’ve seen. I guess now, it’s just a point of seeing how
well does it function? How easy is this to set up? How well does it function? I’m anxious
to do the review on the Night Owl Home Security System. [background music] Gabe: That concludes our unboxing of the Night
Owl Home Security System. If you appreciated today’s unboxing, give us a like. Hit that

  1. This one got a thumbs down! You said like how light it was like 13 times. You didn't say much more than that. I didn't want to give you a thumbs down but you deserved it. :p
