  1. Wow, putin nuking his own country recently as well as having lost a Russian Spy to USA under trump's nose! Laughing at putintrumps!

  2. I heard this at least a year ago.
Why are we reporting that our spy is in Washington? Do we want him in danger??
Ken, don't touch that doorknob. It seems that you are making light of something very serious. So now the guy has to move because of you and you are smiling?

  3. This is completely irrisponsible even giving the details that you did…I know Rachel maddow is not the only member of the press/commentator show that is doing this–and anyone that is discussing details, drawing more attention to this person. Disappointing to say the least. Wtf?!?😬😩 I sincerely hope that this person doesn't turn up anywhere harmed as a result of the greed to get THE story….uggg.

  4. Shortly before Trump’s inauguration, according to Israeli journalist Ronen Bergman, Israeli intelligence officials gathered at CIA headquarters, where they were told something astonishing: Russia, the agency believed, had “leverages of pressure” over the incoming president. Therefore, the agency advised the Israelis to consider the possibility that Trump might pass their secrets on to Russia. The Israelis dismissed the warning as outlandish. Who could believe that the world’s most powerful country was about to hand its presidency to a Russian dupe? That the United States government had, essentially, fallen?

A few months later, Trump invited Russian diplomats into the Oval Office. He boasted to them that he had fired “nut job” James Comey. “I faced great pressure because of Russia. That’s taken off.” At the same meeting, Trump passed on to the Russians a highly sensitive intelligence secret Israel had captured from a valuable source inside ISIS. It was the precise danger Israel had been cautioned about..

  5. In 2015, Western European intelligence agencies began picking up evidence of communications between the Russian government and people in Donald Trump’s orbit. In April 2016, one of the Baltic states shared with then–CIA director John Brennan an audio recording of Russians discussing funneling money to the Trump campaign. In the summer of 2016, Robert Hannigan, head of the U.K. intelligence agency GCHQ, flew to Washington to brief Brennan on intercepted communications between the Trump campaign and Russia..

The contents of these communications have not been disclosed, but what Brennan learned obviously unsettled him profoundly. In congressional testimony on Russian election interference last year, Brennan hinted that some Americans might have betrayed their country. “Individuals who go along a treasonous path,” he warned, “do not even realize they’re along that path until it gets to be a bit too late.” In an interview this year, he put it more bluntly: “I think [Trump] is afraid of the president of Russia. The Russians may have something on him personally that they could always roll out and make his life more difficult.”

In July 2016, a loose-knit community of computer scientists and cybersecurity experts discovered a strange pattern of online traffic between two computer servers. One of those servers belonged to Alfa Bank in Moscow and the other to the Trump Organization. Alfa Bank’s owners had “assumed an unforeseen level of prominence and influence in the economic and political affairs of their nation,” as a federal court once put it.

The analysts noted that the traffic between the two servers occurred during office hours in New York and Moscow and spiked in correspondence with major campaign events, suggesting it entailed human communication rather than bots. More suspiciously, after New York Times reporter Eric Lichtblau asked Alfa Bank about it but before he brought it up with the Trump campaign, the server in Trump Tower shut down. The timing strongly implied Alfa Bank was communicating with Trump..

  6. Putin is having a meltdown. Even Trump can't help him now. The CIA has information on Trump ( Russian spy) 🇷🇺 they should post this flag outside the White House.

  7. Pointing out the ludicrous positioning of this intelligence asset in the open, and surely in the reach of danger, needs to be brought in the light of public purview. Allowing the government's ineffective tactics to prevail are forcing this in the open, and may have likely forced someone to reassess their position on what is a safe house and what is a canary cage. Make them do it right, good reporting. Likely another of Trump's minions are responsible for this, it smells of the Epstein case in terms of a security umbrella with holes in it. Politics are what you can convince the majority to agree with, treason is treason. To me, even the spirit or agreement to sell out your country for fame or to make a buck, is treason, regardless of what lawyers convince you. Today, legality of federal law is no where close to common sense, it is a topic for conversation between those looking to make a deal. So, get real or be gone.

  8. Trumps direct link to Putin is now back in Washington. I am sure Putin will be passing instructions on how to destroy our democracy to Trump, Ivanka and Jarod. How convient!!

  9. Sounds like mission impossible movies….
Spies can't be that smart because they r under pressure 24/7 just for a lousy salary and everyday or every minute their life is in danger….. And mostly they get killed at last either by enemies or by their own agency to Clean up dirty evidences & filthy secrets…. Not a pleasant life style…. Just good for movies

  10. Ken dilanian, So for the sake of a story, You were willing to risk the life of this person who was on the inside Vladimir Putin's command structure in Russia..??? I guess you're going to say you were just doing your job as a reporter. It really is inexcusable when you make a statement that, Well anybody could have figured it out, that there weren't too many people they could have fit the bill and the description of the inside person inside Vladimir Putin command structure and Cabinet in Russia. But hey can you sure made it a whole lot easier to walk up to this man's door, to his house in his neighborhood where you could have been followed and Vladimir could have had his little assassins right there on your coattails and would have ended this poor man's life, all for the sake of a story that you need it to bravely do and go on The Rachel Maddow Show, which I love her show so much, but I despise people like you. It's all well and good to be a bloodhound and to track down a story, but there's this thing call etiquette and decorum and integrity and character and you were willing to risk this man's life not your life, but this man's life so that you could be pat on the back and get a couple of attaboys, and maybe an award or something. You're a real piece of work dude, a real piece of work…!!!

  11. People talking about how the media is putting this spy in danger… What's the point of being called the media and not report these sort of stories?! It was a classified information that was leaked! And I'm glad to know some details of facts that prove how this fake President is a danger to every American citizen in this country and how he intentionally mishandles national security issues!

  12. Ridiculous reporter…so now your investigative reporting may now jeopardize his life. You don't fear anything….your pride about getting the story outweighed caution. No common sense at all. What is wrong with people these days!

  13. sensationalist and irresponsible reporting. msnbc doing putin s leg work for him

they re worried about his safety because of YOU

  14. Is the purpose to make him more at risk? Was there a point to this exposure?? Isn't this putting someone you should be thankful for, on blast?? Why, Rachel, why :'(
