Dogs. Have you ever walked past a house or somebody walking, and just all of a sudden this bark comes out at you, and you just
jump right out of your skin, right? I have the best story. My name’s Brendan and I’m with
Guardian Security. I’m the Integrated Security Sales Manager here. I’ve got an
80 pound black German Shepherd. Well, actually a little bit small, for those of
you that have German shepherds, and it’s got the meanest bark in the world, but it is
the most lovable dog ever. And so there I am, I’m getting home late from the office
one day and I open up the door, and I just get this full roar – you know, like this
dog coming out after me. And then instantly of course my dog recognizes
its me, rolls over on his back and just wants to play and cuddle. But for that
brief second, I was scared of my own dog. And so my wife loves the dog
because she like, you know, if I’m gone or I’m not around she likes the comfort of dog.
And a lot of people feel that way. A lot of people think dogs are good home
security, and dogs are a great start right? Because a dog’s gonna bark, a dog’s
gonna alert you when someone’s around, if the dogs big and mean enough maybe
somebody thinks twice about it, but the truth is if your dog’s moderately well
behaved it’s not the best home security. There was recently a video that surfaced
online of somebody breaking into a house very brazenly, and the homeowner
had security cameras. Whole thing was caught on camera, and the dog was ruff
ruff mean mean bark, but didn’t bite because we train our dogs not to bite.
And I won’t say they won’t defend you, but what I’m saying is that sometimes
you need something a little bit more to make sure that your family, your home, and
your belongings are safe. So give us a call and we’ll love to help you out.
