Home security alarm system company charged $28.60 on 1/8/13 despite the contract being terminated. They’ve been sending me monthly bills since then. I called the number on my alarm pad regarding a peeb sound coming from it. The company owner told me it was due to batteries needing replacing and if I subscribed to their back to base service he would do it for no cost. He didn’t inform me that it was 3 year contract and it couldn’t be terminated (I was unaware prior to signing). After explaining myself to the company accountant, the decision was made that contract will be terminated but I should pay in total $88 for the home visit, which I was happy to do. My last credit card statement showed I was charged again & after that I cancelled my card, but they keep sending me invoices and the payout figure for the full 3 years (about $1200).
