Network Attack Protection is an extension
of our firewall technology. It helps prevent attacks in several different ways. Its original intent was to block known vulnerabilities
at the network level. This prevents exploitation of software that handles network communication, serving protocols such as SMB,
RPC or RDP. With further extensions and improvements,
Network Attack Protection also searches inbound traffic for known malicious protocols. And it disrupts payload delivery, especially
by automated exploit packs such as Angler.
