Do AlloyGators Really Protect Wheel Rims | AlloyGator | Wheel Rim Protection | Ace Car Care

– Hi again everyone. Thanks for joining me on this week’s video where we ask do AlloyGators
really protect alloy wheel rims? Now I can tell you all I want. But the best way to answer
this is to show you. So let’s take a look at our two loan cars, which are both fitted with AlloyGators. First the Fabia with the black wheels and contrast beam silver
AlloyGators fitted. As you can see around
the rim of the gators, there’s some minor scruffing but it doesn’t stand out too much because the plastic is the same
colour all the way through. When we look closer, you can see the damage to the
AlloyGator a little better. But you can also see that there’s been no damage caused to the
alloy wheel paint finish. And you can see that
all four of the wheels with AlloyGators fitted have had some kind of
damage caused to them, which would have meant
repairs to all four wheels to protect the metal from corrosion and being out of use while
they were being repaired. Now we’ll take a look at the Rapid, where the damage is even more severe. You can see that they’ve
taken several quite bad knocks but again, there’s no damage to the painted
finish of the alloy wheel. Anything you can see is coming out from under the paint
due to the ageing wheel or lack of care by the
owner previous to us. So the proof the pudding is
in the eating as they say and you can hopefully
see that the AlloyGators do offer exceptional excellent
wheel rim protection. At the moment, this is our final video
in our mini docuseries, so thanks for watching. And if you have any questions or would like to know more or like us to make more
videos just like this, just let us know. Thanks again for watching and bye for now. (soothing instrumental music)
