Chuango Open Box Video — AWV Plus Wifi Alarm system + camera

Hello there! This is the Chuango WiFi alarm system with HD WiFi camera AWV plus. It’s very easy to use with the free app and can be set up within 20 minutes. It’s compatible with Chuango accessories and some of the AWV plus features include setting up a centralised account, notifications by push message and email, jamming detection, adding multiple AWV plus alarm systems to one account, or adding multiple IP116 plus cameras directly in the alarm-controlled view. The AWV plus kit contains the AWV plus hub, desk stand, and wall mount, AC adapter, 2 door-window contacts with double-sided tape, 2 remote controls, an IP 116 plus camera, a screw set, warning decals, and its documentation. To start the installation, download the AWV plus app and sign up for an account. After signing up, you can sign in and add the AWV plus hub and the IP116 plus camera. Follow the steps displayed in the app to connect them with your home WiFi network. This means plugging in the adapter into the AWV plus hub and switch on the power button. Then wait until the WiFi indicator starts blinking. Press the WiFi button on the back for about 3 seconds. Then connect your smartphone to the WiFi cam network and fill in your home WiFi network user name and password in the app. After it’s connected you see the main overview with the live camera view to click on. Wait until the blue LED light on the camera is steady and not flashing anymore. When using the camera, the red LED light will blink, indicating someone is watching the camera. Sharing the alarm is super easy and can be set according to your wishes. The only thing needed from the person you want to share to is an installed AWV plus app and account. Press the 3 lines at the left top in the app. Press the share logo, and press the add button. Now you can type the email address of the account you want to share to, the name of the person and the devices you want to share. If you press the AWV, you can see an access time limit. This can be set by days or dates. Pressing “done” will directly let the AWV plus pop up in the shared account. Other functions can be found at the right top of the app where 3 dots can be seen. Pressing this, you will see 2 options. One for the history and one for other settings. Pressing history will show the overview of all events like who changed the status of the system and what has been triggered at what time. In the settings menu you can find many options like changing the name of the system, set up a different push message notification sound, and add an email address to receive an email of these notifications. Add accessories with just one click on the plus button and trigger the accessory you want to add. It will show up in the list and the name and zone settings can be changed directly. Set up a timing for the system being automatically armed, disarmed, or home armed or you will receive a push message each time the autotimer arms or disarms the system to let you know and remind you the status changed. Set up a delay time for entry and exit and choose if you want to hear a countdown tone separately for entry and exit. And via the other settings buttons you will find the possibility to put the system in testing mode to test if the accessories are correctly connected and operating. Change the WiFi network configuration and update the firmware of the system. So to summarise, the AWV plus has a lot of functionality packed with a super easy app interface to set it up according to your needs. Sharing your device is quick and easy with a set time access limit. For more information visit www.chuango.com or find us on Facebook and Twitter for latest updates.
